Very good product. Not too bright and easy to see in the dark. Sounds good too for as small as it is. Easy to set and very small and compact. Replaced my prior Sony clock radio that was so dim you could barely see the time, owned it for almost 10 years before it got dim.

Having a Sony clock radio for the past thirty years, I chose a Sony again, a cube clock radio. A nice looking product, but was very disappointed in the product. It is so fiddly to set the time. The radio doesn't stay on the same station, every time you switch it on it needs retuned. More importantly it does not keep the correct time.

I bought this for my son in law's birthday but it buzzed and needed returning as faulty. I jad lost the order number and could not estanlish a return, my emails being accidentally deleted. I have lost the money and my son in law bis 49th birthday gift. Perhaps such issues could be solved in future

My husband bought it so he doesn't have to check the time on his cell phone in the middle of the night,bit dims so doesn't keep you awake, works beautifully, he is very happy.

This clock was easy to set up and easy to set the alarm. The instructions are clear and straightforward. My only negative comment is that even on the highest setting, the clock time isn't easy to see. I have an older clock, the numbers are in red, which is much easier to see than the orange numbers on this clock. A younger person with 20/20 vision may have no problem.

Uncomplicated, nice and compact

I bought this radio / alarm to replace a very very old one which has served me well. Im not a fan of smart, complicated gizzmos and this cube looked simple to operate. Its a nice sized cube, doesnt take up too much space. Setting up instructions are easy though most of it is preset at factory which is held in memory by way of a backup battery if the power fails.The display is clear and bright. It has an orange illumination which is perfect and can be seen at all angles. The radio is very simple to select stations, good clear reception, and great companion when WFH all day. All buttons are easy to use (I have fat fingers). Haven't tested the alarm yet but Im sure this will be easy to set up when needed. Would highly reccomend this little cube for simplicity, looks and uncomplicated functions.

Puedes variar la intensidad de la luminosidad de los números y aunque aún no lo he podido comprobar asegura que cambia la hora automáticamente con los cambios de marzo y octubre. Lo que no me gusta es que hace ruido, es la primera vez que me pasa con un reloj. Es un ruido perfectamente audible, no es molesto para mi, pero habría que valorarlo

Annoying humming noise

Having always been happy with Sony products and my daughter having the exact same one without any noise issues, I found this one constantly made a humming noise. Although not particularly loud, I'm a light sleeper so found it most annoying. I returned it as faulty and ordered a replacement (as they aren't in stock locally), which initially was silent (like my daughter's one) but then it also developed an audible humming noise after a few hours (with the radio off and just the time displayed) so I also had to return it. In the end I bought an alternative from a competitor (which also still has physical stores), which is completely silent and for only £5 more includes digital radio.

Purchased as an update to my 1980's version. As with many new versions the quality is not so good, but still it does look more modern with the square edges. The old curvey round edge model I'm sure with last for many years to come in my garage.

Bought a month ago. The beep alarm is not really that loud but the radio alarm can be turned up and does wake you. The light dims but does stay on which shows some light in the room, I have turned it away from me though so not too bright and hasn't impacted my sleep. All in all, a small, compact and stylish clock, easy to set and use.

I've had this clock radio only a matter of weeks, but so far so good. I appreciate more and more those products that just concentrate on their core function and do that reliably. This item is straightforward to set up and operate, and the radio and alarm functions work well. It's also very stylish. Happy to recommend.

Bought this to replace its predecessor which is identical in many ways but I’d had it for 15-20 years and was looking a bit jaded. New one is lighter, has better reception on the radio and clearer easy to read digits - excellent during the night when you’ve not got your glasses on. This one has the added feature of three different brightness levels which means it won’t keep you awake.

Ideal mains bedside clock, clean and neat design and easy to programme. So nice to be woken by gentle radio rather than an alarm and dimmed display perfect. Battery backup kept settings and time perfect during recent power cut.
